I am used to using a Brother PT2400 @ work and bought a PT1010 to use @ home, it is not quite as user friendly or as versitile. But is excellent value for the money. 10th May, 2012

Excellent product with superfast delivery at cheapest price on internet. Within minutes I had produced quality labels for my new sown seeds. Only problem is I now want to label everything! Look out wife!!

This neat easy to use label printer has an intuitive easy to use operating sytem and sensible options hich increase its utility without making it overly complicated. I like the variable font size and orientation and the printing is clear and easy to read. Programmable memory functions while not essential make it ideal for repetitive tasks and even if I never use half of them I would reccomend it to anyone as it has the flexibility and range to perform any and all demanding label print jobs. Excellent value for money I would label everything if I had the time!! 15th Feb, 2012

Hi , Are the labels made with this labeller weather proof and suitable for the garden? Also is it less wasteful than some other models Also can any Brother label cassette be used in the machine? If not which ones may be used in it . many thanks Jean Johnson Mrs.

The P-touch 1000 comes with a 4 metre 12mm Black on White TZ laminated tape.  The TZ laminated tapes are all waterproof and fade resistance, therefore ideal for garden labelling.  The P-touch 1000 takes all TZ tapes in 6, 9 and 12mm.
