Its compact size and the highly durable, waterproof labels have made this a must for any keen gardener.

Unlike most pens, the print on the GL-100 labels doesn’t fade, wash off or deteriorate for many years.

Simply type in the plant name or message and press print. Each label is printed with clear, crisp, easy to read text. No separate ink is needed as each replaceable label tape cartridge contains the label material and the printing ribbon.

Once the label has been printed simply peel off the paper backing and stick the label to your pots, trays, push in markers, in fact the Brother GL-100 labels stick to most smooth surfaces.

A very good ordering service from labelzone, prompt service came when they said it would. I use it for the garden and its great does exactly what you need. I Dont understand other reviewers comments on the manual. I followed the instructions, and its all OK. Its very simple to use.

For more than twenty years I have used an old Dymotape machine to label the plants in my garden. Most of the original labels are still legible, despite the fact that many of the posts on which they were affixed have rotted down and need replacing. Hence the new Brother GL100...a relatively economically-priced machine that I hope will match its (much!) older and now defunct brother. Its bright white backing and large print size means that I can easily read it from a distance rather than having to write the labels in (semi) permanent marker. I will now have to wait another twenty years to see if its longevity matches its visual availability.

machine is good but i felt a lot of tape was wasted as it took a while to get the hang of it. maybe a disc with info might be better than the instruction which took me a while to work out. but the quality of label of label and speed of use is good

The labels are good, if very fiddly to peel the backing off (it's split down the length of the label - if that helps?). Confusing manual - actually a large piece of paper - I've still not worked out how to change font size :)

I am very pleased with the printer,but find the instructions quite complicated. For someone not used to 'technology' I don't find them very explicit. Just changing font size is not easy.
