Question: Will this model print a barcode?

Answer: Yes! In stand-alone mode (when the PT-9600 isn't connected to a computer), it will print Code 39, UPC-A, UPC-E, 1-2/5, EAN-8, EAN-13, EAN-128, Code 128 & Codabar barcode types. When connected to a computer, it can additionally print ISBN-2, ISBN-5, Laser barcode, Postnet and QR codes.

Can I print my company logo?

Yes, if you connect the PT-9600 to a PC and use the P-Touch software you can import and print graphics.  Please note that the printer is a single colour printer so ideally the logo should be as simple as possible in order to get the best reproduction.

Will this label printer work if I have no PC?

Yes, the PT-9600 can be used as a stand-alone printer.  The keyboard allows you to key in the label information plus there is a range of fonts available as standard in the printer.   The PT-9600 is supplied in a hard carry case and also has a NiCad battery pack, making this a very portable unit.
