This is a brilliant and easy to use labelling system both using the machine itself but also the software package. P-touch is a dream to use and delivers instant results, I can recommend this highly enough .......oh and the price is fantastic too !

What sets this printer over the more expensive stand-alone models is the superior menu system that's both simpler & easy to use.

Unlike the PT-3600, this model has a good backlit screen, better preview mode & takes batteries as well as being supplied in a fairly decent carrying case. The 2 more "advanced" models have higher resolution, also take 36mm wide tape, can invert the colours & have more control over the margins, they are more difficult to navigate through the menus. Unless you really need to print on 36mm tape, I'd go with this model - I don't think the reduced resolution is an issue!

Is this Mac compatible?

The P-Touch 2700 is not compatible with Mac, the only P-touch machine that will work with Mac is the P-Touch 9700
