The Brother QL-1050 boasts a wider print head than its counterparts, enabling you to print labels up to 102mm wide at an impressive 110mm per second. It also features a built-in cutter whilst supporting both continuous and die-cut DK labels. Perfect for barcodes, shipping labels, signage, visitor badges - if you can think of it, the QL-1050 will probably do it!

Hello, I was wondering how the Brother QL-1050 works. How does it print, does it use a ink-cartridge? I don't know much about them so I hope you can learn me something about it. Besides that, is it hard to refill the Brother myself? Thnxx in advance!

The QL range of printers are "direct thermal" printers. The labels have a heat receptive coating which changes colour as it passes the printhead and thus creates the image on the label.  There is no ink or toner needed.

does this this have a multiple colour print option and would it be suitable for printing receipts as well as labels

This printer will only print in black and will only tape the labels offered by Brother, unfortunately there are no receipt paper within this range
