I am interested in the above product combined with the QL 560 label printer. These would be used for labelling microscope slides with a minimum of four lines of centered text in 8 point. Can these labels be used for this purpose or are they used just for bar coding? An example format. Microtechnical Services Pancreas H & E As centered text printed labels applied to 25mm x 75mm double frosted glass slides. Many thanks for your assistance. Alan Taylor Microtechnical Services

The QL-560 labels can be used for a wide range of puposes, however they are only a short life paper label. If these were going to be used in a laboratory you may find that a more durable label is needed.  We have specific lab products which are designed or labelling slides and vials, these can be found here.

Are these labels big enough to take barcodes please.

The 23mm x 23mm labels are probably too small for an average barcode. It is possible to fit 3 or 4 characters of a CODE39 barcode onto this size but this size label is too small for a 13 digitial EAN code.   If you need help to select the correct labels please feel free to call Customer Services on 01202 683212.
