Execellent product.It works well for me - I have a shop and use this product to make shelf labels to slide into plastic protectors. I have not had a problem and any length of label is possible. The cartridge doesn't clog up and, in my opinion, will not let you down 21st Aug, 2011

Can you get these labels in different colours

The standard colours for the DK labels are white, however there is also a pink and a yellow coloured tape as well.  The list of available labels can be found here.

is this paper self adhesive or is it non stick? if it is self adhesive - does it come with a backing that I need to peel off before sticking label to something?

Yes the label is self adhesive, when you have printed the label simply peel off the backing to reveal the adhesive back of the label.
