For the price this is the best value label printer I could find. If you take the value of the tapes included the printer is virtually free. The printer is very good and the only niggle I have found is the screen contrast is a bit low. I highly recommend this printer. 3rd Mar, 2012

Bought this because of the price and have not been disappointed. Have used a labelling machine before - my last one was a Brother P-85. I went for this one because it runs on electricity as well as battery, which was a plus for me. The machine is easy to hold and the kit comes with a couple of tapes to play with. Tapes (if bought from Lablzone, anyway) seem to be fairly priced. I would certainly recommend this product.

all contained in a tough box with enough space for four different labelling tapes. Loads of different text formats, borders etc. Can do double line spacing easily. Very good price and delivery and service 1st class from Labelzone. Will buy from these guys again. 9th Dec, 2011

Can a part-used tape be removed from the machine and changed (e.g. for one of a different colour) without loss of material?

Yes, the tape cartridge can be removed and replaced part way through.  This allows you to swap the label tape cartridges as required.  It is extremely easy to swap tapes, they simply slot into the printer and are instanty ready to use.

can you use this to label cds and the cd will still play?

This product is not recommended as a CD labeller as the tapes may be slightly too thick, you would be better advised to look at the Dymo Labelwriter 450 range and using the Dymo 14681 CD labels
