The compact LabelWriter 450, with its PC and Mac compatible Dymo Label v.8 software, uses thermal printing technology (no ink or toner) to print up to 51 modest address labels per minute in crystal clear text. With a resolution of 600 x 300 dpi (graphics mode) it can also print bar codes and graphics, making smart work of shipping labels, name badges, file and folder labels, inventory labels, and much more.

Print one label at a time or hundreds, either static labels or selectively merged addresses from Outlook Contacts or Mac Address Book. There are over 100 label styles and layouts to choose from, all of which can be browsed on screen for quick selection. Using Windows/Mac printer sharing you can share the LabelWriter with colleagues. You can even print from other programs like Microsoft Word and Excel.

The printer didnt work on windows 7 64bit even with help from dymo tect support . To use the printer I had to setup an old windows xp computer not really happy but atleast I can carry on my my labelling 7th May, 2012

Having though of buying such a product for some time I wondered if the Printer would be suitable for my needs and wanted something easier to use than the MS7 set up which was not so handy for one label only. The dymo printer does it all and is easy to use and set up on the Computer. addresses can be stored in alphabetical order and used individually or for a total or partial mailout. This printer is very easy to setup, I had it connected to my pc and the software installed in 5 minutes. The software is very easy to use and allowed me to print great quality labels including graphics (great for QR codes) with no hassle. The speed of the print is pretty incredible also, I have only got or this for home use but could imagine it being great for a small business due to the speed, ease of use and good price of the labels. Also really good service from labelzone, it was my first purchase from them and no problems at all and rapid delivery. 23rd Nov, 2011

We are currently undergoing a Lean Management program, and one of the areas to look at is our printing of product and delivery addresses in the warehouse. The operation was taking on average 6-10minutes. We searched the internet and found Labelzone to be very competitive, so we placed our first order. Delivery was excellent and it took a few minutes to install the label printer. Our printing of labels has been reduced to an average of 45 seconds saving valuable core activity time. We will definitely be using Labelzone again.

Quick and simple to setup and so far seems to work flawlessly. The supplied software is simple to use and versatile, although you don't have to use it if that is your preference. I nearly didn't buy this but I am so glad that I did as I'm finding lots of uses for this that I really didn't expect to. Overall I would definitely recommend this printer. 16th Nov, 2011

This machine is perfect for printing delivery labels, we are using it for our sheet metal fabrication company. Labels being used are the 99014 and they are quite big enough for all the information my customers want on their boxes sheet metal brackets, plates angles etc when being delivered by a courier. No trouble setting up or feeding labels. For the money you can't beat it.

Yes, Dymo Labelwriter software works with Windows Vista and Win 7.

Will it print barcodes??

Yes this printer will print barcodes. There are 18 formats to choose from the following:

Code 39 (in its various guises)
Interleaved 2 of 5
UPC
EAN
Codabar
Code 39 Library in their various guises
UCC
EAN 128
and ITF-14.

What type of material are the multipurpose labels? I need some I can write with a pen to add initials on the label.

All the Dymo Labelwriter labels are a paper materila which will be fine to write onto with a pen.

Hi, could I use this printer for printing PAT test labels? Are there blank PAT labels available that would work in this printer? Thanks.

The Dymo 450 is not really suitable for PAT labels, we recommend the LabelStation printers for this as they print a very duarable label. We also have a range of ready to print PAT labels. Hi, can you get small circle labels for this printer, I am looking to put stickers onto bottles and cream pots etc thanks Ruth

The Dymo printers do not have a small circular label at the moment but the Brother QL printers do, the range can be found here. There is a 12mm and a 24mm diameter circle. You can find the labels here for the 12mm and here for the 25mm

can you get the address labels in silver for this printer? or can you get waterproof labels?

Dymo do not supply a silver label for the Labelwriter 450 range, however they do a transparent label that is splash proof S0722410
