If you find repeatedly changing the label roll in your printer tedious, the compact LabelWriter 450 Duo is for you. It can be loaded with two different label types simultaneously ready to go, being able to print on paper (over 100 label styles). Graphics Mode resolution on paper is 600 x 300 dpi (good enough for images and logos). With no ink or toner required, maintenance is minimal.

Using Dymo’s Version 8 software (on Mac or PC) you can print name badges, SmartStamps, address labels, shipping, file & folder labels, barcodes, and durable general purpose labels. The following bar codes are supported: Code 39/128, Codabar, UPC A/E, EAN 8/13/128, ITF-14 and Interleaved 2 of 5.

Address labels can be selectively printed from Outlook Contacts or MacAddress, one at a time using the QuickPrint widget, or up to 71 per minute when merging. Alternatively you can print text directly from applications like Word, Excel and CardScan. Further, all the above benefits may be enjoyed by colleagues, using Windows/Mac printer sharing.

I's a great labelwriter!!! 2 in 1, easy to use&install, small but not to small, has many label types comparing with an much older dymo(i had one...older than this one and i have to tell you that it's a big&good diference). I just love it; if i should have to choose again, i would definitely choose the same DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo! Trust it and you will love it! :) 16th Feb, 2012

I love this little gadget. It is very easy to set up and it is so handy being able to have 2 sizes of labels available at the same time. One of the best features is that you can connect with the Royal Mail and print your own postage labels. 4th Sep, 2011

Hi. I'm looking for a label printer that can hold file tab labels and postage labels at the same time and that I can direct to print either or. Can this printer do this?

Yes, The Dymo 450 Twin Turbo can hold two label sizes, the range of labels available are shown here you can use all but the very large labels which only fit the Dymo XL printer.

Does this printer use a ribbon for printing or ink?

No the Dymo Labelwriters are "direct thermal" printers. The labels are chemically treated to be heat-sensitive, the label blackens when it passes underneath the thermal printhead of the printer to create the label content. This means that there is no need for ink, toner or ribbon.

The bulk packs of labels only fit the Dymo 4XL printer, not the Dymo 450, 450 Turbo, Twin or Duo LabelWriters.
