You don't have to use them to know the cartridge is too expensive. If you calculate that each label is approx 50mm, you will only get 60 per 3m cartridge. As a comparison, you can currently get 72 'woven iron-on labels' for £6.99. This isn't taking into account the high wastage of the p-touch labelling machines (lead space). You would need twice the length for the same price to make it worthwhile. Obvioulsy not Labelzones fault as Brother charge a lot for all the TZ tapes - a great shame :-(

Wow what a product i have ironed all my 4 children school clothes with this and no more lost jumpers a pe kit and the TZe- 231 was great for naming school planners and mobile phones and other school equipment funtastic items if you have school kids etc

I have been using LabelZone for quite a number of years now. In fact since my son was in preparatory school and now he's staring senior school in September '11. All his clothes were labelled using fabric labels which I ironed on to his clothing. Never once has his clothes gone astray or mixed up as they are all named! It's saved me money in the long run as I don't replace lost clothes so I am a very happy mummy. I would highly recommend using this machine to label all clothes.

This labeling tape is a must, if like me, you have elderly parents in a nursing home. It means that all of their garments can go to the laundry and return to their rightfull owner, and that expensive pringle socks are not going to the man down the corridor because someone thought that his cheap ones looked the same! The problem is that when you have to label so many items, 3 meters doesn't go very far. So this is a good item, if it came in 8 meter rolls, as do most other tapes, it would be a GREAT item....such is life.
