Can this printer handle data matrix barcodes?

The KL-7400 will not produce data matrix barcodes

Which tape does this machine use and does it come in a clear format on which I can print black letters? I am looking to print on 24mm tape and apply the labels to a roll of honour board in my local Bowls Club. Do you think it would be suitable?

Casio only sell black on white black on yellow and red on yellow tape in 24mm for this printer you can however get black on clear in 18mm.

Does this have auto cut functin? I want it to tag my jewellery will this be functional for the same ?

The Casio KL-7400 has an auto cut and half cut funtion.

Can this print labels for rings in the jewellery trade?

The printer prints onto a self-adhesive label tape. Its not specifically designed for jewellery but could be used for that. We tend to find that most jewellers prefer to use the dumbell style labels which can be found on the links below. We recommed the Zebra GK420d printer for printing onto the dumbell as it is easy to use and a compact printer too.
