I use labelzone tapes for garden labels. Over the years I have turned them up in the soil with a cultivator, given them a wash under the tap and found them to be as good as new. The date on them shows they have been lost in the garden sometimes for a number of years. I cannot think of a greater recommendation. The type remains clear and unfaded and the material completely unaffected.

This tape is helping me to reorganize my extensive workshop which is at the foot of the garden. Like many, who dabble in DIY, I have a huge collection of bits and pieces including thousands of different sizes of nails and screws. I've obtained a few hundred glass jars and am putting these in racks. The label is ideal to catalogue my stuff. Not only are the labels very easy to read, they are waterproof and stick to the jars surviving frosty and sometimes damp conditions. Ideal for my purpose. I'm glad to have discovered this method of labelling and would commend it to others

Once upon a time I tried everything to label my plants. I tried pens, marker pens, fridge/freezer pens and most successfully, printed laser labels. Nothing worked, and just forget the plastic labels and the soft pencil. The solution is this garden labelling device. No more do we try and remember what exactly we planted. The device is very good apart from a tendency to go into a print mode that's difficult to get out of, like when it started printing in small characters and would not change back. I first used the above tape nearly 8 years ago and intended using it for labelling my seedling pots so that i could identify them, but found that it had many other uses. i used it once to label my wheelie bin as someone had tried to take mine i put the label on and it is still on despite the weather and ubuse a wheelie bin gets in the west of scotland. 19th Aug, 2011
